KeepMyCert is operated by Detached Solutions LLC. It is a web-based IT certification tracking platform. By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age to use this service. You are responsible for your account and all activity under it. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating and maintaining your account.
3. Account & Authentication
We support sign-in via OAuth providers such as Google and Microsoft. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for any use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or for other reasons at our discretion.
4. Subscription & Billing
KeepMyCert may offer free and paid tiers. Paid subscriptions are processed via Stripe. You may cancel at any time according to the cancellation policy in effect at the time of signup. We do not guarantee any particular outcomes from using the service, including certification renewal success.
5. AI Features Disclaimer
AI-powered document parsing and extraction are provided on a best-effort basis. You must verify all extracted data for accuracy. We do not guarantee the correctness, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated or AI-assisted outputs.
6. Calendar & Third-Party Integrations
Integrations such as Google Calendar use limited-scope access. Access can be revoked by you or by us at any time. KeepMyCert is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, Microsoft, or other third-party providers. Use of their services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
7. Data & Privacy
Our collection and use of data are described in our Privacy Policy. Data you provide remains yours; we do not claim ownership of your certification or personal data. We process it only as necessary to provide and improve the service.
8. Acceptable Use
You may not abuse the service, scrape or automate access beyond normal use, reverse engineer the platform, or use it for any illegal purpose. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of acceptable use.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. We are not liable for missed certification renewals, lost credentials, or reliance on reminders or AI outputs.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the revised terms on this page and update the Last Updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
